How to request deletion

   Email us from your registered address

   Send an email to docly.fit@gmail.com from the email address linked to your Docly account, with the subject line “Delete My Docly Account”.

   Include your account details

   Add your registered name, email address, and mobile number so we can confirm the request is coming from the account owner.

   Confirm the verification email

   We reply within 2 business days to verify your identity. Once you confirm, the deletion is queued — no further action is needed from you.

   Receive confirmation

   We email you once your account and associated data have been permanently deleted.

Data that is deleted

When your request is processed, we permanently delete the following:

• Account details — name, email address, mobile number, and password credentials.
• Your profile, including profile photo and any family member profiles you created.
• Appointment history and appointment requests with doctors and clinics.
• Medical records, prescriptions, reports, and documents you uploaded.
• Conversations with the AI medical assistant.
• Reviews and ratings you submitted (removed or anonymised).
• Device, usage, and notification preferences tied to your account.

Data that is retained, and for how long

A limited set of records is kept after deletion, only where the law requires it:

• Transaction and billing records

  Retained for up to 8 years where required by Indian tax and accounting law, then permanently deleted.

• Records required by health or legal regulation

  Where a law or an active legal claim requires a record to be preserved, it is kept for the period that law specifies and is deleted once that period ends.

• Anonymised analytics

  Aggregated statistics that can no longer be linked back to you or any individual may be retained indefinitely.

How long deletion takes

Your account is deactivated as soon as we verify the request, and all data listed above is permanently deleted from our live systems and encrypted backups within 30 days. We send you a confirmation email once it is complete.
